Regarded as the finest flavoured pear. A large dumpy pear, yellowish green often with a slight pinkish blush and thickish skin. Fine smooth flesh, sweet and juicy. Fruit rippens Feb/March. (GOOD FOR: DRY, FLOWERS, FRUIT, SPECIMEN, SUN)
